Rolls-Royce 20/25 - distributor drive

Distributor removed to show the skew and drive gears. The shaft for the distributor also powers the oil pump and is driven by the water pump drive shaft.

Note the connecting collar at the top of the shaft - see below.

The connecting collar for the distributor has one double tooth - as shown here. This means that the distributor may be removed and replaced without disturbing the timing.
