Friday 13th!! Back home at last despite the van having developed fuel pump problems.
The crankshaft is that from the original engine, S18K, that was found to have the #1 journal off-centre by 0.010". Re-grinding would have removed the nitride case hardening and left us with the risky task of re-hardening part of the crankshaft. Prudence (and also having a spare crankshaft) led to re-grind the other shaft.
