R-R PIII - replacement block arrives

 

Late night delivery.  Block, with sump and cranlshaft, two heads, 12 new liners and pistons.

The block and heads have been cleaned and pressure tested.  Just the small jobs of rebuilding and painting left to do.
R-R PIII - replacement block New block with old liners installed.  The engine, number Y18D,  originally came from car 3BU178.  According to the Whitaker/Stuckey book the car was scrapped in the UK by F Wilcock.
